Kelly Chase

Kelly Chase is my dear friend, and when we worked together she was diagnosed with breast cancer in March of 1999. She faced a mastectomy, followed by chemotherapy, and radiation with the courage and determination that one can truly be inspired by. She never let the treatment and the process of recovery hinder her from moving in a positive direction. When Kelly got her strength back she chose to lift others faced with the challenges that this disease places on individuals. So when I was diagnosed with breast cancer in December of 2006, it is Kelly's example that I am proud to say I drew from to chart my battle and win.  Kelly is a true inspiration and a winner.
